Active Probe

Advantages of an Active Differential Probe

Unlike passive probes, active differential probes amplify signals and improve measurement fidelity in high-speed circuits. The CE-DP1500V1.1 offers great versatility by accurately capturing differential signals in complex systems:

  • Probe Type: Active differential probe, ideal for high-speed circuits and variable impedances, supporting both differential and single-ended measurements.

  • Attenuation Ratio: Features a native 1:1 ratio, which can be extended to 10:1 using a 10x divider adapter.

  • Frequency Range: Capable of measuring signals from DC up to >1.5 GHz (usable for high-frequency needs).

  • Power Supply: Convenient universal USB power supply compatible with different instruments.

[1] Normal/linear operation above 1.2 GHz, but USABLE up to 3 GHz

[2] The maximum allowable input is 10 Vpp. Exceeding this value may permanently damage the probe’s active input stage.
For best accuracy and linearity, it is recommended to operate at or below 1 Vpp.

[3] Installation Category (Overvoltage Category) I (CAT I): This instrument is intended for signal-level measurements on electronic, telecommunications, and special equipment circuits that are not directly connected to mains power. Transient overvoltages in these environments are lower than those encountered in Installation Category II.
