What is eLABin1™?
eLABin1™ is an abbreviation that stands for “electronic laboratory in one.” This device combines multiple measurement and testing instruments into a single unit, including an arbitrary waveform generator (AWG), oscilloscope, radiofrequency signal generator (RFG), vector signal generator (VSG), spectrum analyzer, and other devices.
Additionally, eLABin1™ allows you to use up to four instruments simultaneously, toggling between tabs, making it a versatile and powerful tool for various electronic lab applications.
When will eLABin1™ be available, how much will it cost?
We are planning versions with different performances and features and target a price from USD $3000. This might seem high at the first moment, but don’t forget eLABin1™ replaces instruments with industry class performance worth from USD $50000.
Please check the recent update about our eLABin1™-V1, our first commercially available version.
What are the reasons that make eLABin1™ different from other devices?
Versatility: Integrates multiple instruments into one, eliminating the need to purchase or carry several separate devices.
Portability: Designed for any environment—from laboratories to workplaces or on the go—eLABin1™ offers unmatched convenience compared to traditional, less adaptable equipment.
Software-Defined Instrumentation: Easily add new instruments, analyzers, or controls through simple firmware upgrades. This provides a future-proof solution, unlike rigid instruments that cannot be modified or improved over time.
Who are the target customers for eLABin1™?
- eLABin1™ targets a wide range of enterprises, educational institutions as well as engineers, scientists, professors, teachers, students and hobbyists working or interested in areas like electrics and electronics, IT, communications and others.
- It aims to be a ‘must-have tool’ for our target customers, as necessary as PCs, smart-phones and measurement instruments are today.
What are the typical applications eLABin1™ are using for?
- eLABin1™ replaces several mostly bulky and expensive measurement instruments used in a electronic lab.
- eLABin1™ includes instruments like Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Vector Signal Generator, Pulse and Arbitrary Wave Generator, Logic Analyzer, RF Signal Generator, LCR Meter, Noise Meter, Power Meter, RF Network Analyzer and more.
- eLABin1™ is the ideal tool for servicing on-site, thanks to the portability of the device. Even during distance or remote evaluation servicing, analysis and measurement reports and log-files can be prepared and shared on-site, or discussed via teleconferences.
- eLABin1™ can control and analyze electromechanical systems, sensors, ICs, etc in a lab or automatically in a production or servicing environment.
- eLABin1™ is also a E-Learning and remote learning tool, and allows various operation modes. (Interactive – Mode where student downloads and runs GUI in Android on Phone / Tablet, Hybrid – Mode, where teachers download prepared configuration to local device, and students performs analysis of signal, Programming – Mode ….)
- eLABin1™ is “IoT ready”! The device can be operated and monitored remotely via Internet. This is especially useful if it is difficult or even dangerous for the user to be by the device under test during operation.
- eLABin1™ uses Android as operating system, so all the millions of Android applications are available as well.
Where can I get a detailed Datasheet of eLABin1™?
The eLABin1™ Datasheet is stilling preliminary and is updating constantly.
Please contact us, and we will be glad to provide you with the most recent version.
What is an Active Differential Probe?
An Active Differential Probe measures the voltage difference between two points (VA − VB) instead of measuring a signal relative to ground. It uses an internal amplifier to reduce noise, minimize signal loading, and maintain accuracy at high frequencies.
What is CE-DP1000V1?
The CE-DP1000V1 is a 1 GHz Active Differential Probe designed for accurate high-frequency signal measurements. It allows engineers to analyze fast signals with minimal distortion, thanks to its high input impedance and low input capacitance.
What are the typical applications of an Active Differential Probe?
Active Differential Probes are used in applications where accuracy and signal integrity are critical. Typical use cases include high-speed digital signal analysis, RF measurements, power electronics, embedded system debugging, and signal integrity validation.
When will the Active Differential Probe be available?
Availability depends on production and release schedules. For the most up-to-date information, please visit our website or contact our team directly.
What is the difference between an Active Differential Probe and an Active Single-Ended Probe?
A differential probe measures the voltage between two points, which makes it ideal for floating signals and noisy environments. A single-ended probe measures a signal relative to ground, which is simpler but more sensitive to noise and ground interference. Differential probes are generally preferred for high-speed and precision measurements.
What is the difference between an Active Probe and a Passive Probe?
An active probe includes internal electronics that allow higher bandwidth, lower signal loading, and better accuracy when measuring fast signals. A passive probe does not require power and is typically used for general-purpose measurements, but it has lower performance at high frequencies.
What adapters and accessories are included with the Active Differential Probe?
The probe comes with a complete set of accessories to support different measurement scenarios. This includes interchangeable probe tips, a 10x divider adapter, solder and flex adapters, micro test leads, clips, and a probe holder for stable operation.
Where can I find documentation for the Active Differential Probe?
