Bogotá 2025: Talent, Technology, and New Connections

On August 20, 2025, Coffee Electronics had the opportunity to participate in the 2nd Electronics and Semiconductors Summit held in Bogotá. This enriching event brought together universities, companies, researchers, and industry leaders from Colombia and other parts of the world, contributing to a thriving global tech ecosystem.

Remark That Truly Inspired Us

Throughout the event, we received valuable feedback and support from attendees. One comment in particular stood out:

“We were truly surprised by the level of talent behind Coffee Electronics.”

Coming from seasoned professionals with international experience, this recognition deeply motivates us to keep building innovative technology with purpose and heart.

eLABin1: Compact Innovation, Big Impact

Our eLABin1 device drew significant attention thanks to its ability to integrate signal generation and analysis into a single compact unit.
Professors and professionals alike highlighted its potential as both a teaching tool and an advanced lab solution:

“This is the kind of instrument you’d want in every university lab.”

Meaningful Connections

We had the opportunity to exchange ideas with representatives from several respected academic institutions, including:

  • Universidad Central de Bogotá
  • Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas
  • Universidad del Quindío

These interactions gave us a broader perspective on Colombia’s academic landscape and confirmed the shared desire to foster collaboration between academia and industry.

A Voice in the Entrepreneurial Forum

We were also proud to have Jheison Mejía, Project Manager of Coffee Electronics at the Colombia office, participate in the entrepreneurial forum alongside other inspiring founders. His voice added valuable insight into the real-world challenges and opportunities of innovating within Colombia’s electronics sector.

A United Vision for Colombian Electronics

We were encouraged to learn about the progress of Bill 047 of 2024, which aims to support and strengthen the national electronics and semiconductor industry. There was also active discussion about forming a national alliance among companies, designed to promote collaboration, share resources, and raise the global profile of Colombian technology.

Thank You, Bogotá

This summit was more than just a space to showcase innovation — it was a celebration of ideas, people, and shared goals.

To every person and institution we met: thank you for the conversations, insights, and inspiration.
At Coffee Electronics, we’ll continue to push forward with passion and purpose, knowing that the future of Colombian technology is best built — together.
