Claus Dr. Claus Muschallik (MBA), CEO and Founder

Born in 1966 Claus Muschallik holds an Engineering Degree from the Technical University of Munich, a Ph.D. from the Technical University of Braunschweig with a major in Digital Signal Processing as well as an MBA from the University of South Queensland in Australia, majoring in Finance. Claus is author of over a dozen of patents and many international papers; he is an IEEE member and Singapore Permanent Resident. He is married with two children.

Claus Muschallik started his professional career in 1989 at Deutsche Thomson-Brandt within the RF-Laboratories of the Corporate Research & Advanced Development Division where he was in charge of the development of the first front-end prototype for digital terrestrial TV worldwide. He was also a member of the standardization group for DVB-T and engaged in the RF front-end development of cable and satellite. In 1998, he joined Infineon Technologies ) formerly known as Siemens Semiconductors) working as semiconductor applications engineer in Munich, Germany.  In the course of his career, Claus was appointed as the project leader for WLAN and program manager DVB-H. In 2002, Claus was delegated to Singapore where he set up and expanded an application and system support laboratory for RF and digital signal processing activities. By 2005, he was worldwide head of a group of 20 engineers covering the areas RF, analog/digital signal processing and software/firmware. In 2008, he became head of the Tuner business division (~50 Mio. Euro revenue p.a.) with full P&L responsibility. He collected valuable experience in general management while heading the marketing/sales organization as well as interfacing logistic, finance, the factory and HR groups. In February 2012, Claus Muschallik set up Coffee Electronics with the vision to provide  “Measurement Environments for Everyone, Everywhere”.

 

Michael Michael Tiefenbacher, VP Sales & Marketing

Michael Tiefenbacher, born 1959 in Austria, has a Dipl. Ing. Degree (equiv. ME) from the University of Technology Graz, Austria, with major in Electronics and Information Technology. Michael has more than 25 years of experience in all areas of Product-Development and General Management. He started building his expertise in design and project-management in Austria and Germany, before shifting his focus on the operational management and leadership of large R&D-organizations globally (Singapore, China, USA). From 2001 to 2004, he was in Vice President of Infineon IC Development Center in Singapore. From 2004 to 2007, he was heading and leading Infineon Technologies Co Ltd in Xi’an, China  as Managing Director and Vice President. Under his leadership the company became a showcase for successful setup of High-Tech Companies in Northern China. From 2007 to 2009, he was Senior Director of Qimonda’s DRAM Development Center in Cary, USA. Since 2009, he moved to Singapore where he provided Management Consulting to High Tech Companies in China, Singapore and Malaysia. His core competence is in the area of implementing ‘Sustainable Success in Product Development’. Michael has been supporting Coffee-Electronics in various functions and responsibilities since 2012.
